Carlos joins us on The Traveling Dog
Carlos Ho, a descendant of Chinese and Spanish immigrants, has spent his life jumping around. Between countries, from one industry into another, from one hobby into... You get the idea.

He was born in Panama, but has moved a few times between Panama and Spain, with a brief stint in France. He's worked as a programmer, workshop technician, maintenance engineer, events manager and procurement assistant, among others. This curious mixture of odd jobs and multicultural background might be one of the reasons he ended up joining the United Nations when the Covid-19 pandemic left him without employment. His current job as a recruitment associate is to find others that want to join the UN, specifically, the United Nations Development Programme.

He loves way too many hobbies, like photography, hiking, scuba diving, board games and traveling. A few years ago, Carlos and his wife Natalie decided to start a travel blog since they were writing stories about their trips to their family and friends all the time. They decided to call it "El perro viajante" (The Traveling Dog), based on a comic that Carlos drew when he was 6 years old and had just moved to Madrid, Spain. Although they don't have much time to update it on a regular basis nowadays, it still has quite a few articles including several tips for visiting Panama, a country they're more than happy to show around to visitors. One day, Carlos might take Bryan on a coffee farm tour around the Western Highlands, a topic Carlos knows way more about than he should, considering he totally dislikes coffee...
