Byrne joins us on My Roommate the _____and The Thankful Show
Byrne is a writer/director/performer/wizard/chocoholic who might also be Batman. He wrote his first play in college back in 2005 and has continued to write and produce his own content since. He is the co-creator of the series "My Roommate The..?" along with his best friend and former real-life roommate Lu Louis. He currently lives in Los Angeles and works for a tech company as a QA Engineer to pay the bills, and is writing a TV series comedy pilot about time traveling wizards.
Born in Dallas Texas, Byrne was raised an only child in San Diego California by his two parents. Byrne is the 4th in a lineage of Byrne seniors, and has heard all of the jokes. Byrne's style of storytelling could be described as tastefully absurd, often incorporating hidden messages, metaphors, and nods to contradictory social norms. His preferred genre for now is sci fi comedy but enjoys the freedom of genre bending, which is highlighted in his work for "My Roommate the..?".
